Sourcing & selection

Sourcing from small farms and producers is our number one priority. The care, expertise and quality of food is just on another level when we work with smaller producers and farmers. More importantly, we know exactly where each item comes from, who made it and that it is 100% natural.

How We Source Our Meats & Cheeses

We believe charcuterie is an art, one that has been perfected over many generations through many different cultures. That’s why we choose only the best meat and cheese every culture has to offer. From Italy, we gather the most tender prosciutto, and the best pecorinos and parmesans. From Spain, the Iberico Chorizo, Iberico Jammon, and Manchego cheese are all staples on our boards. From England, we can’t pass up the rich flavours of Stilton Blue Cheese. We’re also partial to the creamy goudas from Holland and France’s irresistible collection of brie.

We know great meat and cheese isn’t only found in Europe. We also include the best of local meats and cheeses. We proudly carry a variety of cheeses from Quebec and have been equipping our boards with Two Rivers salami, coppa and bresaola, that’s made right here in the Fraser Valley, for years.

How We Source Our Breads & Preserves

Every Noble Fig board comes especially with local preserves and fresh-made bread. We source our preserves from the Preservatory in Langley, BC. We love the Preservatory for their use of in-season fruits, much of which is grown right on their farm, Vista D’oro. Our breads come from Terra Breads, who have a long history of providing Vancouver with fresh bread made from local, seasonal, free range, sustainable and non-GMO ingredients.
